Privacy Policy
Effective date: October 25, 2026
Permloop is operated by KRYO LLC ("Permloop," "we," "us," or "our"), based at 1100 Jackson Rd, Clearwater, FL 33755. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect from our subscribers and website visitors, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using Permloop, you agree to the practices described here.
A note about the permit data in our feed
The permit information in our daily feed — permit numbers, permit types, property addresses, cities, filing dates, permit statuses, project values, project descriptions, and parcel IDs — is drawn from building-permit records that Tampa Bay area counties and cities publish as public information. None of it is information we collect from you, and none of it is created by us: we compile those public filings each day from the counties' official public feeds and public search portals, sort them by trade and territory, and lay them out in a morning email for our subscribers. We do not use tools that circumvent access controls, and we do not buy or append contact information from any vendor. This policy is about the information you give us as a subscriber or visitor.
1. Information we collect
Information you give us. The trial signup form asks for your business name, email address, trade, and the territory you select. When you become a subscriber or write to us, we also collect:
- Your name and business name
- Your email address
- Your trade and the territory you select
- Anything you include in messages you send us, such as support requests
- Your acceptance of our Terms of Service and this Privacy Policy when you sign up — the version of the Terms you accepted and the time you accepted, recorded with your subscription
Billing information. Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe, our payment processor. Your payment card number goes directly to Stripe — we never see or store your full card number. We receive from Stripe only confirmation of payment and limited billing details (such as card type and the last four digits) needed to manage your subscription.
Basic technical information. When you visit our website, our hosting provider automatically records standard server-log information — such as your IP address, browser type, and the pages requested — which we use only to operate and secure the site.
2. What we do not collect — and never sell
- We do not sell, rent, or trade our subscribers' personal information to third parties for their marketing.
- Our feed never includes telephone numbers or email addresses for property owners or contractors, and we do not collect, look up, or buy that contact information from anyone.
- We do not knowingly collect information from children (see "Children's privacy" below).
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
- Set up and manage your subscription and your exclusive territory
- Deliver your daily permit digest and any sample or trial feeds you request
- Take subscription payments through Stripe
- Send subscription and service emails — trial reminders, billing notices, receipts, and service updates
- Answer your questions and help with your subscription
- Keep the service running well and secure, and enforce our Terms of Service
- Occasionally tell you about new Permloop features or offerings. You can opt out of these messages at any time (see "Your rights and choices")
4. When we share information
We share subscriber information only in these circumstances:
- Service providers. With the companies that help us run Permloop, and only the information they need to do their work: our own server (the live subscriber database, logs, and working copies); GitHub (a private repository holding permit data only — subscriber databases are never published there); Google Drive ("PermitPulse Backups," nightly snapshots of the subscriber database, deleted by rotation within 14 days); Gmail (the operations inbox, which holds signup notifications); Cloudflare (website hosting, signup and unsubscribe request handling, and email routing — it processes subscriber data only in transit); Resend (email delivery — it holds message content and delivery logs for 30 days); and Stripe, when paid billing begins (payment processing — card numbers go directly to Stripe and we never see them). Each of these providers handles information under its own privacy policy.
- Legal requirements. To comply with a court order, subpoena, or other lawful request, or as otherwise required by law.
- Protecting rights and safety. Where we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our subscribers or others, including to enforce our Terms of Service.
- Business transfer. If KRYO LLC sells or transfers the Permloop business, subscriber information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you by email if that happens.
We never share your information for anyone else's marketing.
5. Cookies and tracking
This website currently sets no cookies at all — no tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. Our separate Cookie Policy explains our cookie practices in detail. We do not use session-replay tools, keystroke loggers, behavior-analytics software, or chatbot-recording tools on this site. Two infrastructure exceptions, both disclosed here: our hosting provider, Cloudflare, reports network errors to Cloudflare (Network Error Logging) as part of delivering the site — error telemetry, not analytics, that does not identify you or track you across sites; and the legal-notice banner stores a single flag in your browser's local storage (pp-legal-seen) recording that you dismissed the notice — it is not a cookie and is not used to track you. Do Not Track: because this site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising tracking, there is no tracking for a Do Not Track signal to turn off.
6. Data retention
We keep subscriber records for as long as your trial or subscription is active, and for 30 days after it ends, then we delete them from our live systems. Signup notification emails are deleted within 90 days of processing. Backup copies of the subscriber database are kept only on Google Drive and rotate out within 14 days; GitHub never holds subscriber data, only public permit records. Email delivery logs held by Resend expire after 30 days. Payment records, once paid billing begins, are kept as long as tax rules require, separate from subscriber and marketing data.
Two records are kept deliberately longer, and only to honor your choices: a suppression entry holding your email address, so we never re-add you after you unsubscribe or ask for deletion; and an internal record of signup processing that contains no email address, kept to prevent duplicate signups. If you ask for deletion, the suppression entry is what makes that deletion stick.
7. Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) for our website and checkout, reputable infrastructure and payment providers, and limiting access to subscriber information to those who need it to operate the service. Even with these safeguards, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot promise complete protection.
8. Your rights and choices
You may ask us at any time to:
- See the personal information we hold about you
- Ask us to fix information that is wrong
- Ask us to delete your personal information
- Opt out of marketing email — use the unsubscribe link in any marketing message or write to us; your permit feed and billing emails will continue while you are subscribed
To make a request, email us at [email protected] from the email address you subscribed with. We verify identity by replying to that address, and we complete deletion requests within 30 days: your subscriber record and its delivery history are deleted from our live systems, signup notification emails are deleted, and backup copies age out within 14 days. A suppression entry holding only your email address is kept solely so we never contact you again or re-add you. Cancelling your subscription (which stops future digests and billing) is different from deletion (which erases your record) — tell us which one you want. Depending on your state of residence, laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act may give you additional rights regarding your personal information; we honor requests as required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
Permloop is a business service. It is not directed at minors, and no one under 18 should provide information to us. If we learn that we have collected personal information from someone under 18, we will delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the new version on this page and revise the effective date above. For material changes, we will also notify subscribers by email. If you keep using Permloop after an update takes effect, the updated policy applies to you.
